Homes for the Cure
We all know that it’s difficult to sell a home today. It is definitely a “buyer’s market.” It is surprising to note then that still hundreds of thousands of houses still are being sold. Enter “Homes For The Cure.”
The American Anti-Cancer Institute is partnering with real estate brokerages throughout the nation to forward its “Homes For The Cure” program which helps sell houses while providing an excellent fundraising opportunity for the AACI.
Here’s how it works. Upon closing of a typical real estate transaction, the selling agent donates $25 of his/her commission to support the “real cure for cancer” message of the AACI. The brokerage house then matches this amount and a total of $50 for this one transaction is raised for research and cancer “cure” programs. At the end of each month, the brokerage totals the transactions conducted and forwards its “charitable gift” to the American Anti-Cancer Institute for program implementation and support.
This program is truly a “win-win” situation for realtors - and the AACI - as it draws potential buyers and sellers to individual agencies and agents that utilize the “real cure” message and association to an organization (AACI) that promotes a “grass roots” effort to cure cancer.
If you are a real estate agent or broker, please consider participation in this program. The amount donated is a very small portion of the real estate commission - but a large and critical part of the cancer solution. If interested, please contact the AACI through email at info@americanaci.org or by telephone at 509-860-1911.
