Scholarships

At the American Anti-Cancer Institute we realize that many people choose conventional care simply because insurance cover it. In other words, it’s their only option. But what if you don’t have insurance?

While most alternative therapies are fairly inexpensive, there are times when they, too, are just not affordable. We firmly believe that more people would choose non-allopathic options if they had the money. After all, the success rates are far superior to surgery, chemotherapy and radiation and the quality of life is immeasurably better.

In verifiable and warranted cases, the American Anti-Cancer Clinic once built, will accept applications for “scholarship funding” that will purchase anti-cancer foods, supplements, treatments, therapies and protocols. Travel costs in the form of airline, bus or train tickets may also be covered if necessary and qualified. In certain cases, alternative clinic fees may be considered for payment. Application is through this website and each case will be judged upon its qualifications, verification and/or emergency status. The AACI reserves the right to confirm all applications, fund or not fund as warranted, and to forward these requests to partner agencies that may agree to provide similar services depending on their requirements, capabilities and capacities.

Below are some scholarship sites that fund care as well as transportation.

Organizations with Volunteers to Fly to Help Others

Picture
For patient and medical transport: if you seek help moving a needy patient, please contact the groups in the listings on this site below. National groups operate in most areas of the country. Regional groups usually serve in a multi-state area and often link up with others including national groups to handle flights out of their operating area. Each group can provide you their latest complete information on type of operations performed, equipment used, exact areas where they operate, and other useful facts.

NOTE: almost every medical transport group will fly or refer all kinds of patients, including children and veterans, within their service area. Do not hesitate to ask any group for help. If they have any restrictions they will tell you.

Visionary Alternatives, Inc.

Picture
Since their inception Visionary Alternatives, Inc., has grown and so has their vision. Every year, they receive calls from critically ill patients who are younger and younger and are becoming increasingly aware that human illness is directly linked to the serious illness we are creating in the environment of our planet. Their original mission was simply to fund alternative treatments for the critically ill and to offer information about these options. But they are vastly expanding their Mission. Cancer Coalition of America
The Cancer Coalition of America (CCA) is a nonprofit organization that provides grants to patients who can no longer afford the treatment that is helping them. News that can be as devastating as the diagnosis of cancer: insurance has run out for a treatment in progress. When this happens, the threat to psychological, physical, and financial well-being can be overwhelming.

Local fund-raisers are one way of raising money. However, organizing fund-raisers can be time-consuming. Also, the last thing patients and their families need at a time like this is one more thing to do. This is where the Cancer Coalition of America comes in.

How does the CCA differ from other organizations?

One of the foremost goals of the CCA is to fill a need that has not been addressed to date by any nonprofit cancer organization:

To ensure that when a patient is responding to a treatment—whether it be traditional, alternative, or experimental—funds are available if the patient no longer can afford to continue paying for that treatment.

How does the CCA work?
The CCA provides grants to patients for various aspects of care that health insurance does not cover. A special volunteer committee of professionals and lay persons provides guidelines for recipients. Visit them here: http://www.cancercoalition.com/
