VITAMIN B17, FABULOUS AND SIMPLE PREVENTATIVE
Vitamin B-17 is one of the main sources of food in cultures such as the Eskimos, the Hunzas, the Abkasians and many more. Did you know that within these tribes there has never been a reported case of cancer? According to Dr. Krebs, we need a minimum of 100 mg of vitamin B-17 (the equivalent of about seven apricots seeds) too nearly guarantee a cancer free life.
Foods containing vitamin B-17 are as follows:
- KERNELS OR SEEDS OF FRUIT: The highest concentration of vitamin B-17 to be found in nature, aside from bitter almonds. Apple, apricot, cherry, nectarine, peach, pear, plum, prune.
- BEANS: broad (Vicia faba), burma, chickpeas, lentils (sprouted), lima, mung (sprouted), Rangoon, scarlet runner.
- NUTS: Bitter almond, macadamia, cashew.
- BERRIES: Almost all wild berries. Blackberry, chokeberry, Christmas berry, cranberry, elderberry, raspberry, strawberry.
- SEEDS: Chia, flax, sesame.
- GRASSES: Acacia, alfalfa (sprouted), aquatic, Johnson, milkweed, Sudan, minus, wheat grass, white dover.
- GRAINS: oat groats, barley, brown rice, buckwheat groats, chia, flax, millet, rye, vetch, wheat berries.
- MISCELLANEOUS: bamboo shoots, fuschia plant, sorghum, wild hydrangea, yew tree (needles, fresh leaves).

WILD BLUEBERRIES:
Excellent Anti-Cancer Superfood
Anti-Cancer. Antioxidants. Anthocyanin. Resveratrol. Ellagic Acid. You've probably heard of antioxidants; the other super nutrients may be new to you. But all these compounds are found in wild blueberries and together they are believed to pack a cancer-fighting wallop! In 2004 the USDA ranked 40 fruits and vegetables for antioxidant content. Wild blueberries came out at number one on that list. Wild blueberries have 48% more antioxidants than the farmed variety. So if you can get the wild berries, go for it, although you'll still get health benefits from eating farmed blueberries.

HERBAL SCIENCE FROM HOME
Acerola (Malpighia glabra) is proving invaluable in the treatment of many diseases, including cancer. The berries are extremely high in vitamin C, with each fruit providing about 80 times more than fresh orange juice and therefore considered the most superior known source of this essential vitamin.

Dietary Fat: Friend or Foe?
A BRAIN TUMOR SURVIVOR’S EATING PLAN
A study in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition (April 1995) reported decreased tumor glucose uptake and clinical improvement among brain tumor patients on a high fat diet. Seizure control may also improve on a higher fat intake! Now hold it! Before you grab those French fries or dig your spoon into a big bowl of ice cream, read this article! http://www.nutritional-solutions.net/
SPEAKING OF FATS
DR. JOHANNA BUDWIG’S HEALING DIET & PROTOCOL
”What she (Dr. Johanna Budwig) has demonstrated to my initial disbelief but lately, to my complete satisfaction in my practice is: CANCER IS EASILY CURABLE, the treatment is dietary/lifestyle, the response is immediate; the cancer cell is weak and vulnerable; the precise biochemical breakdown point was identified by her in 1951 and is specifically correctable, in vitro (test tube) as well as in vivo (real)
—”Dr. Dan C. Roehm M.D., FACP (oncologist & former cardiologist) in "Townsend Letter for Doctors", July 1990

THE DIET FOR MOST TREATMENT PLANS
from "the Cancer Tutor," Webster Kehr
There are many very healthy foods which contain significant levels of vitamin K. Vitamin K is needed by the body for blood clotting, however, too much vitamin K can contribute to the creation of blood clots in some situations. No more than 25% to 30% of a person's diet should consist of foods high in vitamin K, which include: Broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, collard greens, cucumber peel (i.e. the skin), endive, green scallion, lettuce, mustard greens, spinach, turnip green, and watercress. Garlic should be avoided for other reasons and onions should be eaten in moderation. Read the rest of Webster's recommendations here:

NUTRITION AND BREAST DISEASE
EXCELLENT FACT-PRIMER:
[1] Dietary antioxidants help reduce DNA damage and contribute to gene stability. The accumulation of DNA damage is implicated as a contributing factor in cancer development. Fruits, vegetables, green tea and kitchen spices are rich in protective dietary antioxidants that can help slow the accumulation of this damage. In fact, hundreds of studies have linked high intake of these fruits and vegetables with reduced risk of breast (and other types of) cancer. A good motto is “Eat Eight”—8 or more 1/2 cup servings of fruits and vegetables each day. Foods richest in cancer fighting nutrients are fruits and vegetables that are organically-raised, locally grown, fresh and in season. Select those with the deepest colors (e.g., a pale tomato has much less lycopene than a vine ripened, deep red organic one).
[2] Diet influences detoxification. Detoxification enzymes in the liver are responsible for clearing toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis. Constituents found in healthy foods (e.g., chlorophyll in leafy green vegetables, garlic, broccoli, lemons and citrus and many other foods) can optimize the enzymes that remove carcinogens or prevent their activation.
[3] A healthy diet reduces inflammation. Studies since the 1980’s have linked the use of anti-inflammatory medications with a reduced risk of many cancers, including breast cancer. Systemic inflammation (which is generally without observable symptoms) is a significant factor in developing breast cancer, and also in the progression of established cancers. To help control inflammation, avoid refined processed carbohydrates and sweets, and eat foods rich in omega-3 fats (cold-water fish, flaxseeds, walnuts, grass-fed meat dairy and poultry, high-omega-3 eggs). Limit excessive intake of omega-6 fats from vegetable oils (except olive oil), commercially raised meat dairy and poultry. For More Info, visit: http://www.breasthealthproject.com/nutrition.html
TOP TEN SUPER FOODS FOR HELPING PREVENT ANY CHRONIC DISEASE
Here they are:
Rice
Cruciferous veggies
Pomegranates
Cinnamon
Avocados
Onions
Wild Pacific salmon
Nuts and seeds

Rice, which is alkalizing, is also gluten-free and has a low-allergy effect. Cruciferous vegetables help the body produce enzymes that detoxify cancer-causing chemicals in the body. The antioxidants in pomegranates help prevent cancer, heart disease and strokes. Cinnamon regulates blood sugar and cholesterol levels. The lutein in avocados benefits eyesight. The omega 2 fats prevent heart disease and diabetes. Heart disease can be reduced by eating an ounce of nuts and seeds daily. Turmeric helps destroy cancer cells and also has antibiotic and antifungal properties. Algae boosts the immune system. http://www.naturalnews.com/002493.html
